We didn't set out to build five marine businesses. We set out to look after boat owners properly, and it turned out that takes five capabilities under one roof.

Pinnacle Marine European is Auckland's home for new yachts, brokerage, vessel management, service, and boatbuilding. When the same company sells you a vessel, maintains it, manages it, and one day resells it, the standard never changes hands. That is the whole idea.

What we built instead

So we built the company we thought should already exist.

One legal entity with five capabilities under one roof: new yacht sales, premium brokerage, vessel management, marine service, and boatbuilding through JP Crafts. One team, one standard, and one phone number that reaches the person responsible.

The team that delivers your vessel is the team that maintains it. The team that maintains it is the team that manages it. And when the day comes to sell, the brokerage pricing your vessel has its complete history, because we were there for all of it.

The proof came in stages

Azimut | Benetti examined the operation, the premises, the people, and the financial standing behind it, then appointed Pinnacle Marine European the exclusive New Zealand dealer for Azimut Yachts. Sea Water RIBs of Sardinia, hand-building since 2004, did their own due diligence and appointed us sole New Zealand distributor. Builders at that level examine a company thoroughly before trusting it with their name. Those two decisions are the most honest reference we can offer.

When something is ours to fix, we fix it, and you always know who "we" is. One call reaches the person responsible.

Discretion

High-value vessels, private sales, and family affairs stay private. Pricing conversations happen one to one. What we know stays inside these walls.

Straight answers

If your vessel needs less work than you feared, we say so. If a listing price is wrong, we say so. If we're not the right fit, we say that too.

Our Team

Owner-led, and it shows.

Pinnacle Marine European is led by its owner. The person accountable for your experience is the person whose name is behind the company, and boating is how we spend our own weekends. Every recommendation carries that weight: we manage, service, and build boats because it's what we'd want done properly for our own.

Every enquiry comes to our senior team and is owned by one person from first conversation to completion. Dealer principal Jonathon Edgar is directly involved in every high-value relationship. When you deal with us, you know exactly who is responsible for the outcome.
