JP Crafts · Boatbuilding & Refits

Built here. Built properly.

JP Crafts has been building boats in New Zealand since 2016: custom and production RIBs, bespoke tenders, refits, and survey-driven projects, backed by a full service operation.

Latest launch: the JP CODE 9.8, a bespoke high-performance RIB.

Some projects need a builder, not a broker.

JP Crafts delivers new construction, structural modification, and refit work to survey standard, led by our own boatbuilding team and supported by the group's engineering capability.

We work with commercial operators, recreational owners, surveyors, and naval architects on projects where the detail matters: materials, laminate schedules, structural compliance, and finish quality that stands up to inspection.

How a project starts.

01

A conversation about how you'll use the boat.

02

A written proposal covering design, specification, price, and build programme before you commit to anything.

03

The build, with honest timeframes up front rather than a number designed to win the job. You're welcome in the workshop throughout.

04

Handover, sea trial, and ongoing service backed by the group's marine service operation.
